What happens at Circle?

Event schedule for Circle

Circle will begin at 10am on March 30 at Guandu Nature Park. The event will be a total of 5 hours long—ending at 3pm. There will be five different "sessions," each led by a different presenter. Each of these "sessions" is listed below.

10am

Leonie Reyneke

How do I connect with my power animal for wisdom and guidance?

Join me for a transformative hour, as we embark on a Shamanic Sound Healing Journey. Together, we will step into the mystical Lower World—a sacred realm of deep relaxation, self-discovery, and spiritual connection.

Through the soothing power of guided meditation, the sacred vibration of singing Icaros, and the harmonies of various healing instruments, I will gently guide you into a state of profound peace. Here, you’ll have the unique opportunity to connect with your power animal, a spirit ally waiting to offer wisdom and guidance on your life’s journey.

11am

How do we know when we are balanced vs unbalanced in our energy?

Our emotions are our energies in motion and provide us with precise reflections on what we are creating in the moment. Many times we attribute what we feel in the moment to an outside cause, person, place, circumstance etc.

With consciousness what’s possible is that regardless of what occurs on the outside we have the power to bring our focus, remembrance, and consciousness to the essential expressions of higher possibilities of who we are which naturally expresses peace, gratitude, happiness, humor, curiosity, and love from harmony.

In this explorative session we will know precisely where we reside in our current emotional energy level and how to systematically transform them to free ourselves to higher choices of expression.

12pm

Tracy Mon

How can we deepen relationships  and hold space for others?

What does it truly mean to be with someone as your full-embodied being? We’ll practice the art of holding space—learning to mirror another’s emotions, both physically and emotionally, with compassion and care.

Rather than being about fixing or solving, it’s about reflecting one's experience back to them, creating a container of safety and understanding. When we show up fully present, we offer the gift of being seen and heard—a profound act that deepens relationships and fosters trust.

1pm

Sherry Chang

How can Hakomi practice enhance your awareness of body and mind?

In this one-hour Hakomi practice session, we will explore the foundational techniques of this mindfulness-based somatic approach to self-discovery. By gently focusing on the sensations in our bodies and the thoughts in our minds, we’ll cultivate a deeper awareness of the present moment.

Through guided exercises and mindful inquiry, we’ll practice tuning into our internal experience, learning how to notice subtle shifts in sensation, emotion, and thought. This practice helps enhance our capacity to observe without judgment, fostering greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and the ability to respond to life with clarity and presence.

Whether you're new to Hakomi or experienced, this session will offer valuable tools for deepening your connection to both body and mind.

2pm

Closing the circle & group discussion

In the final hour of Circle, we will come together to close the event with intention and gratitude. This will be an hour for reflection, where you are invited to share your experiences, insights, and takeaways from the day. Together, we’ll honor the journey each of us has undertaken, celebrate the collective energy we’ve created, and express thanks for the wisdom shared by all the presenters. This closing session will leave you feeling grounded, inspired, and connected as we bid farewell until the next Circle.

Accessible Wellness

Our new focus for OS is on smaller, more intimate events that remove the financial restrictions associated with wellness retreats and yoga—making space for a diverse community to explore health and wellbeing without getting lost in the numbers.

Expanding Horizons

Wellness is more than yoga or physical activity—it's about nurturing the mind, body, and soul. OS events will embrace a broader spectrum of wellbeing, from mental health and mindfulness to creative expression and community connection.
